Misi
In July 2009 Lukuru Amisi made history, he became officially the first Lukuru basenji to be registered with the AKC. This Congolese Boy "born and bred" has had an amazing journey. Carried out of the Lukuru in the harness made out of a palm frond, he now lives with Dr. Jo and the three Lukuru basenji girls. Lukuru Amisi, or Misi as Dr Jo calls him is sweet, curious, smart and, like most basenjis, charming. Misi is an excellent ambassador of the Lukuru Basenjis and the breed as a whole.
